Full Stack Developer | Mainframes Application Developer

Background:

I started my Career back in 2007 as a Mainframes application developer, moved on to become a full stack developer of tech stack (html/css | Vue.js | C#.Net | Fabric (API generator for Mainframes) | Mainframes application).

Previous Experiences (recent one at the TOP):

1. TryggHansa AB, Sweden , From June 2014 till Dec 2025

• Key Responsibilities: - Design and expose mainframes transactions as REST API's using Fabric. - Develop and Maintain Admin UI/UX that handles all Mainframes transactions instead of Mainframes screens - Develop and Maintain Home, Health Mainframes insurance systems through business discussions, requirement gathering and review. - Modernize the Mainframes as a platform thru COBOL upgradation, better compiler settings, Moving code to Git, using IdZ. - Being Point of Contact for consuming systems for all Mainframes transactions and guide them to utilize the Mainframes power in the best way. - Develop POC's for upcoming features for providing better understanding to business. - Create and maintain Azure pipelines for Admin UI and handle CI/CD part for it.

2. Southern Farm Bureau, USA, From Jul 2011 till Jun 2014

• Key Responsibilities: - Working on production issues and provide in depth analysis with an appropriate solution - Providing permanent code fix solutions for the cases reported in Production, to avoid further impact. - Performing the Impact analysis to gauge the criticality of the issues present in the Production environment and fix the impacted cases before it impacts the end-user - Adding new functionalities by analyzing the Business requirements and interaction with SFB technical team to help create roadmap to reach to the end product - Providing extensive testing support for Functional and manual testing of the new functionalities. - Providing ad-hoc reporting solutions that are directly used by the business to forecast/speculate the business requirements.

3. The Hartford Insurance Group, USA, From April 2010 till Jul 2011

• Key Responsibilities: - Requirement analysis and Designing Approach for the Business functionalities to be implemented as per the Exceed (CSC, USA, Product) architecture - Documenting the High Level Design and Detailed Design Documents based on the Business requirements. - Writing new modules that would perform the policy processing functions. Unit Testing the code, and then Integration with the remaining system to test it as a single unit. - Writing test cases from Technical and business point of View which are tested by the testing team - Responsible for Reviewing/Suggesting the Design and Implementation done by the Peers. - Providing the latest status on the functionalities being worked to the customer and conveying the message from Customer to the Team - Conducting training for New Joiners and making them understand the business which helps them understanding the requirements of the customer

4. CIGNA Healthcare Insurance, USA, from Nov 2007 till April 2010

• Key Responsibilities: - Provided the Batch Monitoring support for Daily, Weekly & Monthly Cycle Jobs. To Ensuring the successful completion of the batch cycle - Abend Analysis & Abend Solving within the provided SLA time, Keeping all the stake holders involved and updated about the situation - Automated processes with the help of available resources to save cost and time of the customer - Report Generation based on the request from the customer. Provided the Ad-hoc reporting to the customer as and when requested - Preparation of process documents for knowledge repository. And shared Batch cycle knowledge in the knowledge sharing sessions - Resolving Service Requests and Vantives for the Billing issues occurring in production by providing the Datafixes - Writing new modules for the Enhancements and Adhering to the Quality Procedures set by the customer
